"DIRT BIKE" MANUSCRIPT READY FOR A PUBLISHER

Audrey Hebbert may not be a dirt biker, but she's enough of an authority to write a book manuscript. "Motocross Mania" is now being marketed, and you'll want to check back for breaking news . "I had dabbled in writing for forty years but hadn't launched a serious writing career until I started writing the first drafts of Motocross Mania in 1997," Audrey said. "My nine-year-old grandson Josh started racing dirt bikes and I wanted to write a book about his experiences. I knew nothing about motocross but I asked a million questions. Josh, my daughter and son-in-law patiently answered everything, sometimes more than once!"  There were some long waiting periods when Audrey felt God wanted her to just wait for His timing. Finally, after several rewrites,  "Motocross Mania" is almost ready to publish. Check back here for updates.

INTERVIEW WITH DIRT BIKER

Josh likes to answer your questions about motocross. Email him at contact4j@cox.net and he will answer. The one below is a question he hears a lot, along with his
answer.
QUESTION-
What do you look for when choosing a track?
ANSWER-
I will ride or race at any track, because I feel that I'm good at just about anything now. I'm seventeen and have been riding for eleven years. When I come to a practice, I watch the other riders until I spot the fastest guy. I pull onto the track with the goal of beating or keeping up with the fastest, best riders on the track that day. As a younger rider, I looked for certain track features, like a good set of jumps or something else that challenged my skill level. It also depended on where my parents would take me, because they paid for the gas in the truck to get us there.
